1. Include juices in your diet

One of Valeria Lozano’s recommendations for maintaining a healthy diet involves all the ways in which vegetables and other ingredients can become healthy juices. “While they are made with vegetables, all the juices are good,” he says, highlighting the benefits of these combinations in contrast to the fruit juices, which carry more sugars.

Lozano proposes a very basic green juice that can be made in extractor: cucumber, celery, lemon, cabbage and some other vegetables such as celery or carrot. “It’s not that slow to do and it’s a great way to start the day.”

2. Learn

For Valeria Lozano, the important thing is not so much the error, but the way to solve it. “We should not feel guilty because that increases anxiety, self-destructive behavior,” says Lozano. “We have to realize that it is normal, that life is like that and the important thing is not when you water it, but when you start over”.

She suggests changing the focus to get back on track. “It is better to applaud ourselves for retaking it than to punish us for having left it,” he adds. “That change of focus can help us to be a permanent and not temporary solution.”

5. Doing something for others

Valeria did not start Habits as a blog to directly help other people. He simply wanted to share with someone what had worked for him personally. However, over the years it has materialized a vocation that combines its interest in health and welfare issues with the possibility of contributing to social harmony.
